Every time The Dealer Resource Group does a campaign for one of our top dealers, the new students are sent out to shop local dealers. Our hope is to find some top talent for these people to see the true potential. Unfortunately, this is not the case very often.
For example, we can all agree of the importance of follow-up to be really successful selling cars. Any dealer will tell you how important that is and how they are right on top of it with their sales force. Statistically, here's what we have found:
91% of our students are never even asked for their phone number! (We instruct them to give their actual cell phone number so we can see if our class is interrupted with a call. So far none of our classes have been interrupted.)
58% are never even asked for their name!
7% are actually invited into the showroom.
